Seattle lands among world's wealthiest cities ranking (again)

A magnet for affluence, Seattle has landed on the list of the world’s wealthiest cities again.

Seattle is home to 53,100 millionaires, according to a new report by the London-based investment firm Henley & Partners.

That population grew by 48% in Seattle between 2014 and 2024. The growth puts the city at No. 18 in the world for accelerating affluence and seventh in the U.S., above cities like New York City and Boston.

Additionally, Seattle has 127 centi-millionaires — those with more than $100 million in wealth – and 11 billionaires.

Well that's nice. I'd be more pleased if the average person here could find an affordable place to live.
