Write-ins give Democrats a district attorney candidate in Lebanon County

LEBANON - A first count of Democratic primary write-in ballots for Lebanon County District Attorney suggests that senior public defender Michael Light II will be on the general election ballot after all.

Light, a registered Republican, was trounced by incumbent District Attorney Pier Hess Graf in the county’s Republican primary.

But there were no candidates filed to run in the Democratic primary, meaning that slot would be open to whoever snared the most write-in votes.
