Montgomery County election board appoints tabulators for 2025 primary

NORRISTOWN — The Montgomery County Board of Elections appointed 42 tabulators Friday morning as the post-2025 primary election process continued at the Voter Services Warehouse in Norristown.

Montgomery County Election Board Chairman Neil Makhija administered the oath of office to 42 poll workers who took on the additional responsibility, which he said involved “commenc[ing] the tabulation and reconciliation of the in-person vote.”

The action was unanimously approved by the trio of election board members.

“Today we’re going to swear in the tabulators and we’re going to get to work,” Makjija said.
