Dems, GOP now focused on campaigns, fall election in Delaware County

With the primary election in the rear view mirror, both major political parties in Delaware County are wasting no time setting their sights on the fall and what it will take to score victories for their candidates.

Voter turnout for Tuesday’s election was 16.22% and while most countywide races didn’t see a contest, some municipal and school board races did.

With the primary election offering no surprises in countywide races, all eyes turn to the fall. Each party has a priority list and ideas that each are running on. (PETE BANNAN-DAILY TIMES)

And, now the heat is on for November, where contests will be plentiful with a full slate of county council and row office candidates facing off, as well as county judges.
