(21,086 posts)4. It's Connecticut not Oregon.  Unless Senator Blumenthal has changed states.
        The Laurentide Ice Sheet did a number on New England's surface geography and some of our hydrology, before finally retreating 20K years ago. Cape Cod and much of Long Island are glacial till. Lots of glacial ponds in the region.. Some with obvious inflows and outflows. Some not.

        who decided building mere yards away was a good idea? Gads I hope this doesn't turn into who is bringing the cheese to go with the "whine" a la FL and HO insurance rates.
