Meet the candidates: Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen

Five candidates, including one incumbent, are running for two open seats on the Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen.

Margaret Baggett, Hank Miller, Todd Schoen, Lee Williams and David Wortman are all vying for the two open seats.

The town of Wrightsville Beach’s government is led by a mayor and a Board of Aldermen consisting of four members, with one member serving as mayor pro-tem. Aldermen serve a four-year term and earn a salary of $8,056.56. The town’s incumbent mayor Ken Dull is running unopposed.

Early voting at the Northeast Regional Library begins on Oct. 16. Early voting at satellite sites at the McLeod Building at Cape Fear Community College, Senior Resource Center and Carolina Beach Town Hall will begin operations on Oct. 25. The final day of early voting is Nov. 1.
