DNC Chair Ken Martin rallies Paterson Democrats Ahead of Election Day
PATERSON, NJ - National Democratic Party Chair Ken Martin joined local leaders and volunteers at Eastside Park on Saturday morning to energize voters and support Rep. Mikie Sherrill, Dr. Dale Caldwell, and Democrats across New Jersey ahead of the Nov. 4 election.
Martin traveled across the state Saturday as part of his “Organize Everywhere, Win Anywhere” tour, a strategy focused on building year-round grassroots infrastructure in every state, regardless of past voting trends.
At the canvass kickoff in Paterson, Martin praised longtime Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie and thanked local officials for their work turning out voters.
“I would not be standing here today without John Currie, and that’s true for so many of you here,” Martin said. “Democrats around the country know Chairman Currie. He helped deliver every single New Jersey member of the DNC, and I wouldn’t be here today without him calling me and saying, ‘Get your butt in here. We need help.’”
