Oh well, the stuff will still be there when it melts. Have a good Thanksgiving, and yes, we do need it!

However...

We won't get above freezing anytime soon and as you can see, we have more whiteness on the way.

Looks like maybe April?

to be in this townhouse complex. I couldn't scrape off some of the ice even with the snow shovel. I cleaned the stairsteps best I could and put grit/salt on them for traction that I have saved up.

After all that cleanup work just for the sake of the mail person, the f**g mail person shoved mail halfway thru the little swinging door mail slot so that it was holding the little door open letting lots of cold into the inside, grrr, for hours. All they have to do is just push the mail an inch more further in so it drops inside and the little door closes, but no.

I found the area inside by the front door where I keep the sand grit to be a mess where I could hardly find it, but cleaned a lot of that up, that's about all I've gotten done today so far beyond heating up and consuming some soup.

But, I am not from here so I don't know the nuances. (Ten years is not enough really. Weather patterns don't happen that fast.)

Yeah, that mail person was an ass for that. One the first days we have that stays below freezing and they prop a hole in the door open?

Reminds me of Bukowski. ('Post Office' is such a great novel.)

Hope you have a great holiday and stay warm... going down to 1F on Sunday... a little early taste?
