Someone help me out here?

Got a bare outline of something involving that republican, Gomez, from Rachel Maddow.

He was part of some group, that now he is denying that he was a part of.

Anyone know anything else about this?

I think he was a spokesperson for the group that claimed Obama was a swine for mentioning that bin Laden was dead.

Turns out he's a birther.

No wonder Gomez is trying (and failing) to distance himself from that group.
