Attleboro High student council to host candidates forum for city election

ATTLEBORO — The Attleboro High School student council will host a candidates forum for the upcoming city election on Monday night, Oct. 27.

The forum will begin at 6 p.m. in the school’s Bray Auditorium. Doors will open at 5:30.

The forum is intended to “help the voters of Attleboro select who represents them in local municipal government,” according to a press release from the school superintendent’s office. “Members of the Student Council will facilitate a Town Hall-style forum, in which candidates will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves, answer questions and meet with constituents.”

The forum is free and open to the public. Media contact Rory Shuler said all local candidates have been invited but could not say which ones have confirmed they will attend.
