Hopkinton Town Election is Monday May 19. Here's who's running for office
Voters in Hopkinton will have just two races to decide when they visit the polls at the Hopkinton Middle School on Monday, May 19, for the annual town election.
There are no ballot questions.
Incumbent Select Board member Shahidul Mannan faces two challengers, Jeffrey Doyle and Matt Kizner, for two three-year seats on the town's top governing board. A second incumbent, Mary Jo LaFreniere, is not seeking reelection.
In the only other contested race, incumbent Peter Mimmo is seeking to defend his seat on the Board of Assessors against challenger Frederick "Ted" Mayer. That seat is also for three years.
