You may have heard some names in the news recently: Larry Hogan, Andy Harris, maybe even some guy named Ed Hale. It seems like one or maybe all of them are going to be the next Republican to try to run against me.
But here's what's really happening: Two years ago, we flipped this governor's seat from red to blue. Now, there's a coordinated Republican effort to flip it right back, and no matter which Republican ends up running against me, you can bet the Republican establishment, Trump's mega donors, and all the dark money special interests are going to line up behind him to ensure they win.
That's why I'm counting on grassroots supporters like you to show the strength of our movement right now. We need a big surge of small donations so we can keep pace with whoever they throw at us and whatever they spend.
While their donors are writing $100,000 checks, I need you to chip in $10 or $25. Nothing would send a stronger message than showing that this grassroots movement can go dollar-to-dollar with the Republicans' big money machine using nothing but people power.
