          http://www.wdsu.com/article/tornado-watches-issued-tuesday-in-southeast-louisiana-southern-ms/8681672
Tornado watches cover large parts of Louisiana and Mississippi as a line of severe storms moves across the region.
In Louisiana, the watches are in effect for the New Orleans and Baton Rouge metros. In Mississippi, a tornado watch covers the southern half of the state, including Jackson, Hattiesburg and Biloxi.

(14,702 posts)3. You're welcome!
I'm at work. I am an avid gardener and I have tons of potted plants on my front and back porches, as well as my balcony. I have nursed them through the winter by bringing them into the house or garage to protect them from the cold. I will be devastated if this storm ruins them.
Damn! I work in a high-rise in Downtown New Orleans. My window faces west. Just saw a bunch of lightening strikes and a very black sky. It looks bad!
