Need based Day-Care vouchers terminated.

The Arkansas Department of Human Services notified day-care providers today that need based vouchers are terminated immediately. DHS sent a form letter to day-care providers to give to parents informing them that their day-care was terminated unless they could self-pay.

Low income parents have a work requirement in order to receive food assistance and Medicare. There has been no word that the work requirement will be eased.

The elimination of state vouchers threatens the survival of day-cares that accept the vouchers. As a result, parents not receiving the vouchers will also lose day-care.

Tell me again how the MAGAts protect children.
