I voted today. Blue all the way down the ballot.

was the obvious choice for Democrats

6. I have friends and family who will vote blue. We talk politics among ourselves, but

not in public. You never know how some people might react.

Governor Clinton, and 3 of the Congressional districts were Democratic. Pulaski County Sheriff Tommy Robinson of Little Rock was elected to Congress as a Democrat but switched parties and was defeated in the next election. Those were the days *sigh*

11. I remind people that Arkansas used to be a blue state.

These years of Republican majority have not been good for our state.

12. i think some of this has to do with the 2008 assassination

of Bill Gwatney. who was the then-chair of the Arkansas Democratic Party. He was a fellow Boys' Stater who was devoted to his party, and then some asshole murdered him and then the perp was killed during the manhunt. And the Arkansas Democratic Party hasn't been the same since

13. I met both Senators Bumpers and (David) Pryor in the 1980s

I was really impressed with both of them, and was really proud to have them representing my state
