Related: About this forumMy attempts capturing a hummingbird at the feeder.
Hummingbirds are migrating right now and our hummingbird feeders have been quite active. I never tire of watching them.

We haven't seen any hummers since spring.

(155,120 posts)Were you using a tripod? I know I would be! But I tend to wobble.
Anyway, keep at it!

(15,242 posts)I was just sitting on a lounge chair, but I did have my camera focused on the feeder.
But . . . I may set up a tripod in the future and connect my shutter release.

(155,120 posts)I think that anything you can do technically (like with these tools) will help you as you look at the birds.

(117 posts)saw a guy feeding a hummer with a bottle cap full of sugar water. The hummer would land on his hand and drink.
