Tracking an Osprey in a 50mph dive is difficult

Need to work on my panning! It's much different than an airplane going in one direction, unfortunately lost him before contact with the water

I'm in Lutz. These photos were taken at Carrollwood Village Park, a lesser known and more refined Hillsborough County Park

Family friends lived on Lake Allen, and then a high school buddy's parents lived off Lutz Lake Fern Rd. Both of those places were out on the boonies then!
I graduated from Leto in 77, and lived off Waters Ave close to Hanley Rd.

osprey. Tried to photo but am not that good.
One morning, while mowing my lawn, a saw a dead bird under the tall pine. It was a malnourished osprey. Know nothing about its age but they don't always come up with fish.
I live near where you caught your diver and love the panoply of birds at my new downsized residence. Quarter mile as the stone throw. Bet the birds I see now are the same ones that hung around my pond.
