I think (but am not completely sure!) that those are green (or unripe) pistachio nuts.

I've never seen anything like those before!

I was especially taken with the squash flowers. This vendor doesn't always have them so I was glad to see them today.

I need to always look for new things. It wouldn't do to bore my audience!
