K-pop fans maybe too intense?

Wow! This K-pop star is the subject of fan hatred because she might have a boyfriend. Different cultural norms, I guess. Rabid fans of American pop stars sometimes go crazy, but not in droves or hordes.

In this instance, actors are considered beneath singers in Korean pop culture. I have no idea why.
