2. Great Story About The Second Tune

Back in around '83, my wife & I got invited to a wedding reception.
Outdoor thing, and a band from NW Indiana was the entertainment.
My wife had seen them, but I hadn't because my band was gigging so often.
As a favor to the bride, the band agreed to have me come up & play something.
I saw "Your Love Is Driving..." on their setlist & said "I sing this one in my band."
The keyboardist called up the patches he used and I figured out what I'd do. (BTW: his polyphonic synth was tge same one I used, so I knew how to tweak it.)
Anyway, we do the song and the bass player says "Oh, you're in a real band!"
We hung out with them during the breaks and became fast friends.
In my next band, we played at least 5 multi act showcase gigs for a local rock music magazine with those guys.
We were pals fir 25+ years, and it all started with that song.
