I have mixed feelings about music. I dislike ambient music I have no control over.. I would shut off human-made music in my home I don’t control..
And in shared spaces far from home it’s one thing, but in my home no. Except birdsong and wildlife noises uncorrupted by anthropogenic noise I want no ambient sound. Just the rhythms of nature. And these harassing creeps make noise on the street just to be invasive and violating. I am no Karen. I am always polite to anyone I deal with in service jobs, randos etc (long before the surveillance state. I mention it to point out that I don’t raise complaints over non-issues). But obnoxiously disrupting quiet streets to grab attention is lame.
I was pondering that while listening to this. Really cool song
