The original singer, China Forbes, was temporarily disabled by larynx issue. Storm Large had a massive job to learn the songs in multiple languages during the Forbes absence.

Thomas Lauderdale is a Portland icon. The band travels the world, and is very popular in France (I heard them once on the background music track in a Paris restaurant once).

Lauderdale took a strange turn a couple of years ago with the release of "Thomas Lauderdale meets Satan's Pilgrims"....familiar tunes performed in surfer style....
