But Jimi still did it better...more power to it.

But this cover was true to the Cures sound, making the song sound like something of their creation.

I listened to them lot.
Geez, we covered 7 or 8 of their tunes, but I never heard this before.
I dig they did The Cure thing with the long intro. Also, the hook riff is implied in spots but extremely subtly.
They really made it their own.
