played with Huey Lewis & the News back in the early 80s. I think it was the 'Sports' tour. Those horns really helped make the show.

I love this version of "What is Hip."

Lead guitarist of a band, Hot Smokin Brass, mirrored after these guys. They became Jackie Wilson’s band. One gig TOP was opening act. As good as HSB was with a dynamic brass section, their pre “opening act” ego got slapped in the face.
He told me this story so many times. Always check your ego at the door.
