Musical Comedy for this weekend: Firebringer
This show is by Team Starkid who are an independent theatrical group. They became popular with the Very Potter musical satires and the participation of Darren Criss, but they have created original works as well. This is one of their often overlooked gems.
Firebringer is a comedy musical about a matriarchal group of early humans discovering how the world works. It is by turns hilarious, raunchy, and brilliant satire of anthropology and politics.
This is the source of the "I don't want to do the work today" meme which is actually a major theme in the show.
The show contains frequent adult language and humor.
