Great voice. Often reminded me of another great singer, Lou Gramm of Foreigner.
Power, range, and a great rock timbre.
Fun Fact: the guy who's playing all that synth stuff was David Rosenthal. He was later keyboardist & musical director for >>>>>>>
Cyndi Lauper on her True Colors tour.
We saw that tour and the whole band was full of players.

...8-bar solos that were in fashion in the '80s: get in, make your statement, get out. It's played by Richie Blackmore, but the style is 100% Alex Lifeson, including that weird octaver/pitch transposer effect.
