A Hot Tip on A Cold Morning

There are suddenly almost a thousand people in my general area who are without electricity.

It's 29° so it's the coldest morning so far this fall. I know that many have it worse. Im not complaining. I put on my thinking cap. Anything to get a little warmer, right?

I decided to turn my bad news around to make something good.

So, I called my favorite news station number. There's a man who answers the phone there most days. He always sounds so nice. I told him my news. He said that they weren't aware and that the news team would investigate. He sounded pleased.

I gave him a hot tip on a cold morning, put a third blanket and second sweater on and grabbed my five pound toaster muffin, because we need to keep each other warm.

I hope everyone has a lovely day.

Seriously ...

A part broke on my boiled over the summer, and I didn't get my central heat back until last Saturday. I wore fleece running pants or two pairs of pants. North of the border, I'd have on a t- shirt, a long sleeve t-shirt over that, a hoody over that, and a fleece jacket over that. Headwear was a beanie. I had ekwctricity, so I was running oil-filled heaters.
