TV station. It's pledge week. Has anyone told them that no one has a C D player anymore?

I have too much money invested in CDs. Plus, while I don't like the fidelity as much as I do on vinyl it's much better than a horribly compressed computer file.
Oh yeah, I have a turntable too.
And yes, I'm approaching old fart territory.

(1,924 posts)It actually plays CDs, records, cassette tapes, the radio, and can use Bluetooth to connect to my phone or iPad. Somehow Ive gotten nostalgic for the simpler ways to of listening to, and owning, music.

(22,228 posts)I can pull up any song from any album from anywhere in the world using any device.
As I've aged, I find I don't listen as much as I used to. But that may just be me.

2. TV in front of treadmill has a built in DVD player.
3. TV in camper has a built in DVD player.
Not counting the CD-DVD drive on my desktop computer.
