The Paper (sort of The Office spinoff) is very good. Very funny.

On Peacock.

Oscar repeats as Oscar but in Toledo.

The premise is ….well Bob Vance explains

Scranton, Pennsylvania, Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration explains how Dunder Mifflin has gone out of business and its trademark was sold in 2019 to Enervate, a company that manufactures paper products. Enervate owns the Toledo Truth-Teller, an Ohio newspaper where Ned Sampson is about to start his first shift as Editor in Chief. Esmeralda Grand is the Managing Editor. Accountant Oscar Martinez, a former employee of Dunder Mifflin, who now works at Enervate is displeased at being filmed while working at his job.

Mid season 1 form. They have gone ahead and started developing all the characters not like The Office where characters emerged over time. We just rewatched the whole thing again and Kevin really came into form in the last season.

The Paper has gone right into 2 1/2 relationships. One by episode 5 we just watched, one that one party wants and the other is oblivious, and the dance between Ned and Mare.

I was afraid it was going to be a bust but it has lived up to expectations.

but many people have made a lot of money off it.
First season, they filmed in an actual empty office near LA. When Jim Pam and Dwight are on the computer they are on chat rooms forums etc talking to fans. Word of mouth.
Dunder Mifflin was about a quality product and customer service. 😃
