on realizing his plot had no chance of succeeding, just stood down and ordered his driver to take him home...The End.

No arrest, no perp walk in cuffs, nothing. In a way the ending is analogous to the longer, drawn out conclusion to TSF's J6 coup attempt...no arrest, no perp walk in cuffs, no front page headlines the next morning, no nothing.

At least there was major news coverage in print, MSM networks, cable and online, but still trump just went home to MAL, no arrest, no perp walk in cuffs, no front page headlines the next morning, no nothing. Thanks SCOTUS 6 for giving him immunity.

Thinking of my daughters, and how they got home from schools on 9/11, but ours was NOT fiction. (Afraid I'll be thinking hard of that, tonight.)
