Good morning my DU family,

There are a few ingredients that every good day has. Curiosity, Love, and Gratitude.
I wish you a blessed day driven by the Curiosity to grow and learn, the love to share these experiences with those closest to you and the gratitude that makes you want to do it again.
Love, John

"When I wake up, I expect things to be good. If they’re not, then I try to set about trying to make them as good as I can ’cause I know I’m gonna have to live that day anyway. So why not try to make the most of it if you can? Some days, they pan out a little better than others, but you still gotta always just try." - Dolly Parton

Finally able to post petunia pics, before the storm hit and cut off the internet much of the afternoon.

There were no blossoms when I planted the tiny bush a few weeks ago. Counted eleven this morning. 🌸

No reason, I guess, except I am not too happy about my upcoming birthday. I'll be on the wrong side of 85 years old and Trump is still president. I don't know what I was expecting, but I have sure hoped for better things for us here at DU.

Here's to better days ahead!

We still have our space and place to feel safe in.
Please know you're treasured, needed and loved. Please enjoy this year as energetically as you did your 21st young man.
Happy birthday.
