I've never been up with the latest things so have liked a song when it crosses my path and Goodbye Stranger's music, not lyrics, did its earworm thing on me in those decades past, but I never bothered to find out what group, who, what. Then a couple of years ago this middle aged-plus matrimony played it on the jukebox and it captivated me. It took months for it to pop up in the rotation for me to do a Shazam ID on it. It's got all the musical tricks that work for me - melody above all, obsessive OCD repetition, counterpoint ... After played it many times I got around to checking out the lyrics and was confirmed in my prejudice against lyrics for their ability to be about whatever, in this case licentiousness. But am not such a prude, just "sheltered" haha at this late age!1

started to appreciate them much more over the last few years. They were like no other band. Excellent songwriting.

Oh, I'd heard this The Logical Song too, just learned the title and the other fellow. The lyrics are not filthy anyway!

The closest I got to liking by group and multiple songs was the Beegees.

3. RIP, Rick. I think their peak was the 'Crime of the Century' album
