Things are finally in motion with the new car

Took care of the insurance but couldn't get an appointment for the title transfer until June 5, which is exactly 1 day past the 15 day 'grace period'. Trouble is, the Secretary of State 'Super Center' is closed for remodeling until June 2 so the volume has shifted to the other locations. We could have done this on line but the seller is in her 80's and just wasn't comfortable with that process.

Not worried. I'll just drive the Saturn to the appointment. When I sign that over to my bro, we will do that on-line. Likely on June 6.

I'm in a learning curve because during the years, since I bought the Saturn, the car control panels sure have changed! I'm not sure they even call them 'dash boards' anymore. SO many lights, bells and whistles. It is a nice drive, though.

I'm also learning just how MANY people drive an Equinox. There were about 6 in my lane in the parking lot when I went to pick up a prescription this afternoon including one parked right next to mine. I'll have to do something to make mine easy to spot. That something will likely be a strategically placed Dragon.

and glad to see your post.

It is probably selfish to mention, but I'm missing seeing your prolific posts in the Pets forum. I hope everything is okay! (other than being so busy with the car, and life generally )
