INDIANAPOLIS Start your engines!
In honor of racing season, Oscar Mayer is throwing their hat in the game on Carb Day, Friday, May, 23, with the inaugural "Wienie 500."
The famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles will compete in a race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time ever.
The Wienie 500 will mark the first meat-up of all six Wienermobiles in over a decade, officials said.
According to IMS, each Wienermobile will represent a different regional dog, including the Chi Dog (Midwest), New York Dog (East), Slaw Dog (Southeast), Sonoran Dog (Southwest), Chili Dog (South) and Seattle Dog (Northwest).
Each driver will have a custom Hotdogger racing suit and the winner will be presented their trophy, and a hot dog, in the "Wiener's Circle."

on the unbanked Indy track. They should do that at a NASCAR track like Daytona with the high banking which makes taking the corners safer.

(52,321 posts)6. Wienermobiles are too slow to run on a NASCAR track
They are governed to 60mph, and you'll fall off the banking at any slower than 75.

This is the race, which is one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

to recover and I was a lot younger then.

on a wall shelf.
He is from Wisconsin
