Anyone following Sailing with Phoenix on Instagram?

Oliver is a 29 year old who got fed up with corporate life after being diagnosed with a spinal disorder that could leave him paralyzed. He sold all of his belongings, liquidated his 401k, bought a sailboat and learned how to sail. He and his cat Phoenix are on their way from Oregon to Hawaii. After his stay there, he plans on sailing to French Polynesia.
He describes himself as socially awkward, but he’s a hoot. I’m rooting for him all the way!
