I've seen little kids do that all my life. Did little kids get that from the NBA, or did the NBA get that from little kids?

(187 posts)3. I don't watch a lot basketball but I seem to remember way back
that the player who committed the foul would raise an arm to, i dont know, take blame and make it easier for the scorekeeper to see the jersey number or something? I dont think players do that anymore.
