This is from a few days ago. Rains have since removed lots of petals, so Im glad I snapped this photo while puttering around in the yard. This is my first spring here, and I had no idea what colors these azaleas would bloom.

for azalea bushes.
Many hardy varieties good for the bone-chilling zone 6a too.

Lots of pine needles make the acidic conditions that azaleas (and rhododendrons, which I also have) prefer.

From what I'm reading, some varieties bloom three or four times a year too.

grow great blueberry bushes in that soil.
