Glad this guy rescued this sweet baby, and then took it home. Looks like it adapted well.

But I am just guessing. It could mean that the fawn was left alone.

It's a spotted (axis) deer, which keep their spots as adults. It does seem to be on the small side, but spotted deer do run smaller than typical American whitetails (although there is at least one small variant of the whitetail).

Some of the various different deer shown after the snake portion are indeed young fawns, mostly whitetails, I think. One of them looked like a red deer or elk fawn/calf.

Also, none of the articles I've seen called the rescued deer a fawn.

The beginning, where the snake is driven off, is real. The other bits, with all different people and deer (of different species), were taken from other people's videos and have nothing to do with the Thailand deer and snake.
