Merlin never learned to say Meow

the only sound he can make is eeh. And because of this he was locked into the basement for the last two days! Finally, after frantically calling him to come home, I looked down the stairway and saw his little shadow on the glass door. He's home and I'm relieved.

What they gave up in voice, they make up for in purring.

Neither knows how to say meow. Picabo can't purr but can meow loudly! I love their variations on being cats.

Explain to Merlin that he needs to work on his ‘eehs’. Like loud, louder, loudest!

make sure he hasn't slipped through when I'm walking in. I had work to do downstairs and left the door open and forgot that he was so intent on going through any door at the speed of light.

Then happily relieved!

I, too, have a kit kid sho sort of sqeeks rather than meowing & he's been inadvertently locked in bathroom & my home office because of it..

Poor furkuds.

Glad he is safe & sound!

got locked in somewhere far from home and I spent almost 2 weeks mourning his loss, so now I'm particularly sensitive to this. Merlin is so happy to be home that he is overly needy and wants to be held constantly in between turns at the food bowls. lol

I have such a dark sense of humor, the weirdest things make me laugh and that really did. Learn to meow or get stored in the basement until you do! lol
