I've never been into poetry, per se, but this form of it intrigues me. So a couple weeks ago I started writing it. I love the way it's so concise and disciplined. Here's my latest:

Slipping into sleep
A world of magic awaits

with "I paddle away". It stuck with me. I can't remember anything else about that haiku. On the rare occasions I write haiku since I always end them with "I paddle away".
