What's making you smile right now?

Baby giggles? Puppy snuggles?
Holding your soul mates hand?
Laughing with friends?
Waiting to board a plane for a trip of a lifetime? (That’s me right now)

Hugs to all!!

3. The contented smile on my sweet ole girly dog as I plan for her 14th birthday celebration Sunday at the Dog Park...

I have had chicken breasts and beef filets vacuum-sealed and frozen in the back of the freezer for what is becoming TOO long so I'm going to thaw them, dice them, and char-cook them up in my Wok for each of her favorite buddies that join us every morning at 5 AM. Then I'll have little bags of some healthy dog biscuit treats as well. A birthday banner and some rubbery balls that light up in different colors...

She's not going to tolerate much more than a cute birthday girl scarf, but I'll have some little hats for the other dogs. And hopefully, some photos when the sun comes up.

14 years old, but still walking our 3 miles or so pre-dawn despite her (and my) joint pain... I know it is treasure-every-moment-time, so that still brings a smile.

I care for her two days/week. Thanks to 2 older sibs, her language skills are amazing. We have real conversations. She has a great sense of humor. and is such good company. Entertains me all day. She can do a side-eye like nobody else.

There are a bunch of talented young country artists that I have come to appreciate in the last few years. Kinda avoided "tears in beers" music described as "4 chords and the truth" until recently. My loss. Toe tapping easy listening.

we have problems but we work on them. I feel at home with my left wing political views. Nobody hates me for it. My husband is the volunteer head of the local Homeless Commission, working on the problems of the homeless among us. He is trying to help others who need help.
