4 Beatles movies coming - 1 based on each Beatle.

Each film will focus on a different member of the legendary group.
"Each one is told from the particular perspective of just one of the guys," Sir Sam told the event. "They intersect in different ways - sometimes overlapping, sometimes not.
"They're four very different human beings. Perhaps this is a chance to understand them a little more deeply. But together, all four films will tell the story of the greatest band in history."
The films will be released "in proximity" to each other in April 2028.

The side by side comparison of actor to Bestle is here.

4 separate movies? Why not just put them on Netflix I wonder?

I'm not familiar with these actors. And they certainly don't resemble any of the Beatles.

I know there are people of all ages who still love the Beatles, especially Baby Boomers.... but are there enough people to fill movie theaters? Is there new information that hasn't already been told.

Seems a risky thing to do.... and 2028.

Sorry to be skeptical.

The magic of movies - hair and makeup.

As I said above, The Beatles still sell. Hell Elvis still makes $100M a year. There was a CD more than a few years ago of just Beatles #1 hits. Top of the charts. There was grumbling in the music world about them getting out of the way and sucking up the oxygen in the room. They sell.

the most time consuming thing will be editing four separate movies out of the footage. Sounds like a very expensive undertaking.

I haven't seen every Sam Mendes film, but I find him a very able director. The movies of his I've seen were slick and well put together, but I don't think they had the emotional heft that something like this project needs.

Prove me wrong, Sir Sammy.

All 4 going through the same time line and changes in appearances and events happening around them.

I’d forgotten about “1917”. I saw a clip of two directors saying they could see breaks in the filming but to an untrained eye it’s supposedly looks like 2 straight hours of seamless action.

Between his murder and Yoko's ugly effect on his talent, it will be too damn depressing...
