Virginia Giuffre Was a 'Huge Trump Fan' Because She Believed He'd Release Epstein Files, Ghostwriter Says

The co-author of Giuffre's posthumous memoir said the late Epstein accuser was "excited" by Trump's campaign promise to share the government's evidence against Epstein

Giuffre died by suicide in April at age 41. But prior to her death, she prepared a book about her alleged abuse at the hands of Epstein and members of his inner circle, including his partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Prince Andrew.

Giuffre's ghostwriter, Amy Wallace, spoke with CBS Sunday Morning correspondent Tracy Smith about the book, as well as Giuffre's feelings toward Trump, a former friend of Epstein.

"She was a huge Trump fan, because he campaigned on releasing the Epstein files," Wallace revealed in the interview, which was broadcast on Oct. 19. "She was very excited that he had made that one of the main planks of his campaign, and she felt validated by it."

Giuffre did not implicate Trump in any of the claims of abuse made in her book, and she allegedly told Wallace that the future president was "kind to her" when the pair were introduced at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

no one else was running on this issue.

Of course *rump was only doing it to inoculate himself from suspicion, and to regain power making himself immune to prosecution while he remained President.

That leaves scars for the rest of one’s life.

As an adult, she believed Trump’s campaign promises because she needed to believe that someone, anyone, would bring justice for her and the other many victims. My heart goes out to that poor lost girl.
