Takeaways from Attorney General Pam Bondi's contentious Senate hearing

(CNN) Attorney General Pam Bondi’s appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday showed the sharp divide between the left and the right on how justice in the US is being carried out.

Democrats and Republicans repeatedly talked past one another throughout the hearing, pointing fingers across the aisle over who was to blame for weaponizing the Justice Department.

Democrats accused Bondi of allowing President Donald Trump to direct prosecutions of his political enemies, including last month’s indictment of former FBI Director James Comey. Republicans, meanwhile, blamed the Biden Justice Department of using special counsel Jack Smith to prosecute Trump and spy on Republicans, pointing to the release Monday of documents showing Smith’s investigation obtained call records through a court order of eight Senate Republicans.

They might have concentrated on who was there to ask questions and who was there to answer questions. It seems one part was able to ask questions and one part did not answer anything.

Here is the takeaway from the Bondi hearings. Did you see the huge binder that Bondi was using as a guide to answer questions? Someone was paid taxpayer dollars to do opposition research on Democrats, paid to do opposition research on the Senators, all in violation of the Hatch Act.

Bondi isn't smart enough to answer questions on her own, someone was paid to provide the answers for her.

With that said, why bother having the Hatch Act, Magats violate it every damn day.

Fuck CNN and fuck The Hill for good measure.

This CNN article is a perfect example of posting right wing talking points that are lies.

that Pam Bondi is not qualified to be the attorney general and beyond that, is probably the most self-admittedly corrupt attorney general we've ever had. Bill Barr never talked about his incompetence or his deceit so openly.

More drama to sit around and watch, protest, and let it go on. No one likes these people but no one does anything about it but lets them go on and on and on.
