The Borowitz Report: "Man Feared to Be Cognitively Slipping After Writing Book About Wrong President"

Link: https://www.borowitzreport.com/p/man-feared-to-be-cognitively-slipping
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)A mans decision to spend months writing a book about the wrong president is a worrisome sign of cognitive slippage, brain health experts warned on Tuesday.
Devoting a 352-page book to unmasking a president who is no longer in office instead of the one currently sowing global chaos indicates serious mental impairment, the experts asserted.
Making matters worse, an inner circle of the mans co-workers have been enthusiastically touting his book on television in a coordinated effort to conceal his cognitive decline.
Its sad that no one around him seems willing to tell him hes slipping, one cognitive specialist said. Every day it becomes clearer that hes no longer up to his job.

(37,872 posts)1. What is the point other than keeping people distracted from the current
president's obvious insanity.

(13,885 posts)7. Same purpose as not revealing it as "news" when discovered ...
for Tapper, Thompson and their publisher to make money.

(14,635 posts)8. It'd be slightly less galling if Tapper bothered
To write a book about the corruption and malfeasance during whatshisname's first term, but instead he dedicated himself to other shit. And now he's claiming that the Biden "cover-up" could be worse than Watergate! It's as if he's memory holed the four years before Pres Biden took office.

Possible one word change in title... rather than, "Feared", I would suggest the word: Certain
