Kid Rock's MAGA Country Music Festival Loses Shinedown and More Artists......

Source: Variety

Full Headline: Kid Rock’s MAGA Country Music Festival Loses Shinedown and More Artists: ‘We Don’t Want to Participate in Something We Believe Will Create Division’

Shinedown have become the fourth artist to pull out of Kid Rock’s MAGA-leaning “Rock the Country” music festival, the band announced on social media Friday.

The group is the fourth artist to pull out of the festival, following Ludacris and country artists Morgan Wade and Carter Faith.

“Shinedown is everyone’s band,” the group wrote. “We feel that we have been given a platform to bring all people together through the power of music and song,” the message began. “We have one BOSS, and it is everyone in the audience. Our band’s purpose is to unite, not divide. With that in mind, we have made the decision that we will not be playing the Rock the Country Festival.

“We know this decision will create differences of opinion. But we do not want to participate in something we believe will create further division,” the band continued. “And to our fans, thank you for supporting and believing in us. We love and appreciate you always.”

The deejay said he was upset about them being political. Well, the whole thing is about politics. I guess it took these bands this long to figure that out. But of course Kid Rock isn't being political.

This station has tried doing the conservative talk in the morning, but had to stop because of backlash. Now they own a talk radio station and they try to promote it on the station I listen to. Owner must be a wingnut. People around here don't want a bunch of stupid politics interfering in their music. I hope their talk radio station goes broke.

Is that they are not playing because they think it's political not because "kid" rock wrote a song for a children's movie about how he only likes having sex with children....and referring to woman as ho's" and "drinking 40s"

It's called 'Osmosis Jones'.

And its not one of those minor songs (excuse the unintentional pun) that is only featured briefly in the movie but included on the movie soundtrack. It is in the actual movie in a scene featuring the main character...voiced by Chris Rock.

Her TPUSA is showing itself to be a political HATE GROUP towards anyone who is NOT of their ilk.

Good for those deciding not to participate to Kirk's alternative Super Bowl half-time show. Morals count.
