The Trump administration is renewing a push to end Russias war in Ukraine, with a reported 28-point peace plan that caught Kyivs supporters in Congress off guard and left at least one Republican warning against what appears to be a largely pro-Moscow proposal.
The plan was reportedly worked out by President Trumps top envoy for peace negotiations, Steve Witkoff, and a top ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kirill Dmitriev, and discussed with only a few top senior Ukrainian officials.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told Russian state media that the ministry had not received any information from the U.S. through official channels related to agreements on Ukraine. Likewise, Ukraines top supporters in Congress appeared to be in the dark.
I dont know what this 28-point plan is. Im glad that were coming up with a plan, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a top Trump ally and hawkish supporter of Kyiv, said during an event Wednesday morning hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies. But Graham added that any plan must be buoyed by strong U.S. military commitments to Ukraine and measures targeting Putins ability to fund the war.

(10,765 posts)While it was a non aggression treaty, it had an agreement to carve up Poland. Obviously it's not the same but it smells like USA and the USSR (sorry, Russia) agreeing to carve up Ukraine.
I hope Zelenskyy protests. And loudly.

(31,467 posts)even the parts not in control of Russia.
Donbas makes up around 9 percent of the entire land mass of Ukraine and has around 15% of the population. More importantly, it is the industrial and mineral rich part of Ukraine.
From Wikipedia:
he Donbas region is rich in coal and other key industrial minerals like iron ore, and also contains significant deposits of critical minerals such as lithium, tantalum, strontium, and cesium. Historically a major coal-producing hub, the region is vital for Ukraine's heavy industry and energy production, and also holds reserves of natural gas and salt.
This would be a very bad deal for Ukraine and very good deal for Russia. Lifts Russia sanctions, no war reparations for Ukraine, enforced smaller army for Ukraine with limited weapons... Ukraine would essentially become a client state of Russia again. No NATO, probably no EU membership... all to stop a war that Russia is losing ( the lines are fairly static but Russia is losing the resource and economic war ).

A photo or video of shit stain giving a blowjob to Bubba. It was probably a bet for a lot of money during his broke period before the Apprentice. Bunch of guys all standing around laughing. Hey Donald, Ill give you $5 million if you blow Bubba.
