The Pentagon has for weeks been planning a military deployment to Chicago as President Donald Trump says he wants to crack down on crime, homelessness and undocumented immigration, in a model that could later be used in other major cities, officials familiar with the matter said.

The planning, which has not been previously disclosed, involves several options, including mobilizing at least a few thousand members of the National Guard as soon as September to what is the third most populous city in the United States.

The mission, if approved, would have parallels to the polarizing operation that Trump ordered in Los Angeles in June, when he deployed 4,000 members of the California National Guard and 700 active-duty Marines despite the protests of state and local leaders. The use of thousands of active-duty troops in Chicago also has been discussed but is considered less likely at this time, said two officials who, like others interviewed, spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.

The Chicago effort would further expand Trump’s use of military force domestically, even when state and local authorities call the idea unwelcome and unwarranted. Administration officials have defended such deployments, arguing that they are taking necessary steps to bring back law and order.

trump wants to put troops in every major Dem city to prepare for martial law. He will just continue to claim they are all hotbeds of crime to begin. Then the complete takeover will happen. Its all part of a plan. Putin has helped him plan it, and the meeting in Alaska was just for trump to report his progress.

if the civilian population decides to actively resist. And by that I don't mean violent resistance. Nonviolent means would make their position untenable quickly.

Another city overrun by uniformed part-time soldiers for fake resaon they weren't meant to be employed for even if they were real. They will disrupt commerce, tourism and daily living, all to stoke the crackup of a raging lunatic supported by raging psychos.

I noticed the other day that SC National Guard units are in DC. When russia controlled the countries around its borders, they would send soldiers from other areas to control the local populations. The Romans did the same thing. It is a strategy to keep the troops loyal to the oppressor rather than to an area they have ties to or affection for. I look for the psycho brain behind the occupation of major American cities by National Guard or i.c.e. thugs to keep sending state Guards to far flung outposts to prevent loyalty to the Constitution of the U.S.A. and the oath each guard takes.
