Accused neo-Nazi cult leader extradited to US, as DOJ alleges ties to deadly Nashville school shooting

Source: ABC News

May 23, 2025, 12:29 PM

The alleged leader of a neo-Nazi cult based overseas has been extradited to the United States and accused of "multiple senseless killings" around the world, including the shooting at Antioch High School in Nashville earlier this year that left one student dead and another injured, according to the Justice Department.

Michail Chkhikvishvili, a Georgian national arrested in Moldova last year, was arraigned Friday in U.S. federal court in Brooklyn, the DOJ said. His attorney entered a plea of not guilty to the charges and the judge ordered him detained. A status conference in the case was scheduled for June 11.

Chkhikvishvili was indicted last year on several federal charges, including two counts of soliciting hate crimes and other violent attacks. According to the DOJ, he was a leader of the "Maniac Murder Cult," a Russian and Ukrainian-based extremist group also known as "MKY" that promotes violence against racial minorities, the Jewish community, and others it deems "undesirables."

In announcing his indictment last year, the DOJ said Chkhikvishvili – who allegedly also goes by the moniker "Commander Butcher" – distributed a self-authored "Hater's Handbook" encouraging readers to commit school shootings and other mass "terror attacks," providing suggested methods and strategies.

If we can’t handle trying immigrants for their so-called crimes, how can we possibly handle a guy this lawless and brutal, on the other hand Trump will probably pardon him

if she were going to drop the charges, then why have him extradited?
There's got to be something in it for Been A Dick Donald and his merry band of criminals.

and the actual transfer to the U.S. ended up finally happening in this early part of 45's term. So this was all primarily done by "leftover people" who had worked on it under Biden.

What she ultimately does once the "Nazis are good people" crowd takes over, remains to be seen.

I vaguely recall the Nashville shooting (and I know they have "the Justins" as the gun control advocates there) - https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/2-students-shot-cafeteria-nashville-high-school-suspected-shooter-no-l-rcna188785

But since the shooter killed himself, I never really heard that much of a follow-up, let alone any connection with this particular OP's case. Could be because that happened in January and we all know what was happening when 45 came in and took a bulldozer to the government.

The rest of the ABC article more clearly established what was going on with that Nashville shooter (apparently idolizing this guy).

I had to read it a couple times after I posted it to finally "get" when all this was originally happening with this guy before he was finally extradited (let alone using reading glasses too).

I'm sure Donald will give Michail $5million of our money (or his beloved family should he sadly get shot during an escape attempt/altercation), and throw a MAGA pity party at the White House for the poor dear patriots. Surely all cultists, unlike all students, and all Democrats, need to be loved, respected, and protected.
