Protestors gather after man detained at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Dozens of people gathered outside of St. Joseph’s Hospital Monday evening, protesting the detainment of an undocumented migrant, who was picked up by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials outside of the hospital after protestors say he was tending to a family member.
CBP officials told 13 News the man, whose name is Francisco (no last name provided), was under investigation before this detainment for illegally re-entering the country after being deported.
They say he was under surveillance before this detainment and the hospital played no part in it.
Despite this, protestors say the fact the incident took place at a hospital is what worries them and something they say shouldn’t happen.
